Tom I absolutely love Wayne Grant s writing His story lines are exciting and full of action I just can t put the books down I really hope that he re visits medieval England and continues the saga of Roland Inness I have enjoyed every book in this series for the author s ability to tell a great story, to describe minutiae to great battle scenes, and indeed because I have learnt pockets of history that I was ignorant of This last book was equally as good, great storyline, wonderfully descriptive portraits of the villains and heroes as usual I shall miss all these wonderful characters.
Another excellent addition to the series Finished it in a day and for the first time read on with the historical notes and the authors acknowledgements.
Sad to see the series come to an end as I have been gripped since Longbow Will definitely be a series I will read over and over again.
Thank you Wayne Grant P.
s Excited about the prospect of an old Inness book.
Fantastic once again An amazing read I have thoroughly enjoyed all the books in this series, and am very said to read that this may well be the last That said, Thank you Wayne for the many happy hours I have spent with Roland Excellent end to the Roland saga The author neatly weaves his last book into a plausible continuation of the previous books Full of plenty of battlefield gore, I thoroughly enjoyed this series of Roland Innes, as ithas been well written, and the continuity of each book has been perfect.
This is a really good stand alone historical fiction, love medieval Britain and you ll love this But if you ve read the saga this is a fitting end.
Great characterisation, on your toes drama, brill.
Read the whole book in two days including half times during the rugby World Cup.
